Archive Vol. 4 chronicles Joni Mitchell’s late 1970s explorations and features unreleased studio sessions and alt versions of tracks from the groundbreaking albums Hejira, Don Juan's Reckless Daughter, Mingus and Shadows and Light.
Packaged in a similar vein to previous sets in the series, Vol. 4 also includes rare photos from the era and notes taken from Joni in conversation with friend and confidante, Cameron Crowe.
Amongst other concert recordings, the set boasts powerful live performances from her time in Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue and also showcases two tracks from 1979 tour rehearsals.
