Dave Thompson Roxy Music in the 1970s Book Roxy Music
Roxy Music In The 1970s provides a superb insight into one of the most exciting and ambitious bands of all time.

Comprising a core of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Phil Thompson, but also featuring, at different times, Brian Eno, Eddie Jobson and John Wetton, Roxy could never be easily pigeonholed.

Ferry, Manzanera, Mackay and Eno additionally embarked upon solo careers, which, between them, were responsible for a complex catalogue of songs stretching from vintage ballads to electronica, from Wagner’s Valkyries to David Bowie’s Low.

Written by respected critic Dave Thompson, this book documents the histories of both band and band members, analysing and detailing every album and single released by the Roxy family throughout its defining decade.
