Celebrating the simultaneous events of Daniel's 60th birthday and the 30 years of existence of the Sargasso label which he created in 1993, Almost Everything contains detailed descriptions of all his releases with Sargasso plus quite some collections of unreleased material, totalling 40 albums. Each album is described in detail with full-page images of the front covers, relevant photos, all credits and 'how-it-came-to-be' info.

As an introduction there is an essay written by Daniel about his personal story and how Sargasso came about and the book concludes with an in-depth interview by composer and friend John Palmer.

Daniel explains:
"I wanted this to be more than just a retrospective. It’s a curated space — part archive, part reflection — that shows how the different threads of my music, and the artists and ideas I’ve encountered along the way, all connect across three decades. It’s my way of saying ‘thank you’ to those who have supported this on-going adventure.”
