John Kilbride The Golden Road Book The Grateful Dead
Over its 30-year career as one of the most influential and successful bands in the world, The Grateful Dead released only a handful of studio albums and a small number of live recordings.

With a reputation built on its stellar live performances, it was only in their later years and after the death of their iconic frontman Jerry Garcia, that they commenced the release of over 100 recordings from the vaults that documented the magic the Dead produced on stage.

A massive undertaking, this book charts the history of the band through these hundreds of releases - as well as the band's studio recordings and key solo albums.

The Golden Road uncovers and celebrates the recordings that capture The Grateful Dead at its very best.
